Once an account is created, the account holder will be prompted for the option to use an authenticator app. This will allow a second factor in accessing the account. This means that even if someone knows your credentials, they will also need your phone to log in. The service will use an authenticator app which will generate a 6 digit passcode that would have to be entered when logging in with a new device, or a device that hadn’t logged in for a month.
This will assure that a would be thief can’t just access the account, and therefore makes it a more secured account. While providing a 6 digit code from an app that you would have to check with your phone might be a little inconvenient, it is a lot less inconvenient than having your account hacked.
