With basic Caller ID, you would get the telephone number of the caller. If that telephone number is in your contacts, then you would see that name as entered into your contacts. With Caller ID+, you would get the telephone number, and CNAM information for any telephone number not in your contacts. This will mean that you should also see the name of the caller. However, keep in mind, that this information is provided by the origin caller’s provider. So you might see “Wireless Caller” instead of a name. This is the fault of the phone provider of the caller, and not a flaw in this system. Caller ID+ is $10/month.
