Data tethering will use your device as a modem, and will connect to the services with a limit on data speeds based on the plan you have. This is to not get by with a flaw in the system such as having faster tethering speeds with the 3G plan. The speeds are as follows:
- 3G: 256kbps
- 4G: 1MBPS
- 5G: 5MBPS
